There's always time for a busy, stylish hound to take a nap at a Grapehounds event. Just wake me for dinner. Photo by Balance Photography.
The greyhound ice cream social put on by Greyhound Pet Adoption of Delaware is just one of many greyhound-focused activities during our weekend. We have other participating adoption groups from New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticut. Photo by Balance Photography.

At this time our dates are July 25-28. However we are at the mercy of Watkins Glen International Raceway. If they schedule an event later this year for our weekend we will have to move our weekend to July 18-21. Very few entities schedule a year in advance as we do.
The Grapehound Wine Tour® is a six-day event, featuring about thirty wineries, brew pubs, and distilleries, with wine tasting, food, music, lakes, waterfalls, and a huge vendor tent filled with greyhound vendors from a dozen states.
For 2018 our headquarters location will be the Firehouse Distillery in Ovid. Atwater Estate Vineyards will be our Early Bird location. Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards will be our Welcome Vineyard. Fulkerson Winery will be our Sunday send-off host.

We always have a big vendor area along with a large social area for sitting with your hounds and hanging out. We also plan to offer our traditional and popular doggie babysitting tent at our main, centrally located location.
Please make your reservation for your room as soon as you can. Watkins Glen International Raceway has just announced a Ferrari race during our weekend. These additional visitors will help to fill up hotels and campgrounds around Watkins Glen. Don't wait. Reserve now.
We are busy updating our hotel rates for 2018. See the Hotels page for lodging information.
We provide every registrant with ten wine tasting passes and a commemorative wine glass and a 2019 refrigerator magnet event calendar. We do not plan to give out tote bags to all registrants this year. The cost has just become too burdensome.
Early Bird registrants may arrive as early as Tuesday, July 24th. and begin their wine tasting experience.
All proceeds after costs are donated to participating greyhound adoption groups throughout the Northeast. The Grapehound Wine Tour, Inc. is a Delaware registered, IRS approved 501(c)3 charity benefiting greyhounds and sighthounds.
