Corononavirus At this time, we do not see any issue with holding our event this July. We encourage everyone to get the coronavirus vaccine before this July. We will observe all safety practices rcommended by local and New York state authorities.
We believe that since this is an outdoor event held in summer that Covid-19 will not be a factor in enjoyig the wines and scenery of central New York.
That said, we will monitor the situation carefully and be mindful of any advisories posted by New York State or health organizations.

The Grapehound Wine Tour® is a six-day event, featuring about forty wineries, brew pubs, and distilleries, with wine tasting, food, music, lakes, waterfalls, and a huge vendor tent filled with greyhound vendors from a dozen states. Different activities throughout the week take place at various host wineries and other locations, such as Taughannock Falls State Park.
For 2021, our main event (Friday and Saturday, July 24-25) with vendors, food, wine tasting and other activities will again be held at Catharine Valley Wineryfour miles north of Watkins Glen on route 414.
We always have a big vendor tent at the main host winery along with a large social area for sitting with your hounds and hanging out. You may check in before the event officially begins at our Early Bird location. If you wish to check in early, before the welcome event on Thursday evening, be sure to indicate that you wish to be an early bird when you register. Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards will again be our be our Welcome winery on Thursday evening.
Please make your reservation for your room as soon as you can. We are working with area hotels to set up room blocks at favorable rates. Reserve soon.

We provide every registrant with ten wine tasting passes, a commemorative wine glass and a wine bag.
Early Bird registrants may arrive as early as Tuesday and begin their wine tasting experience before the event officially begins on Thursday evening. Be sure to indicate that you wish to check in as an early bird at the time you register.
All proceeds after costs are donated to participating greyhound adoption groups throughout the Northeast. The Grapehound Wine Tour, Inc. is a Delaware registered, IRS approved 501(c)3 charity benefiting greyhounds and sighthounds.
